On the occasion of the first edition of Gstaad Art, Mitterrand gallery is pleased to present a selection of Post-War and Contemporary works revolving around the subject of Nature.
The main focus of this presentation will be on the artist couple Les Lalannes, that the gallery has historically represented since the 1980’s, with a selection of important pieces such as the François Xavier Lalanne’s Petit Bouquetin des Alpes, Mouton de laine or Grand chevreuil, and the Claude Lalanne’s pair of Fauteuils Crocos and Crococurule, from her famous crocodile set of furniture.
They will be accompanied by a selection of artworks from major Post-War artists, such as David Hockney, James Rosenquist, Carlos Cruz-Diez and Ross Bleckner.
