Artist Katja Schenker works largely with performance, sculpture and drawing techniques. In the exhibition Die Augen der Hand (The Hand’s Eyes) she unveils a vista from the art space to the outer world while using her own work as raw material. In many ways her working method has parallels to geological processes, which would normally be incompatible with the temporalityof human life or the human body. Die Augen der Hand is an invitation to encounter the multiple aspects of Katja Schenker’s creative work in the Kunstraum Kreuzlingen & Tiefparterre by taking part in a walk through the town or joining two bus tours.
